Curious on new window cost expectation versus a Pella quote

Had a Pella rep come by for 18 windows. Nothing crazy, all standard sizes he said. They’re 250 series which look to be about $500-700 a piece depending on size.

He quoted me 32K and said, “2 hours a window probably.”

So 12K for windows, 20K for labor at $555 an hour?

This seems absolutely absurd, am I crazy? I’m located in Longmont, Colorado.

Oh and he also said this was with 32% off. Felt like an extra 32% added on.
