Best Glue for Oily Nail Beds

Hi all. I have oily nail beds. Normally it’s fine with regular polish but extensions are killing me. They pop off within a few days of the application. Usually the natural nail is smooth and has very little, if any, glue attached.

I’ve tried Aprés, Beetles, NKK, and Modleones. They all pop off. So I’m coming to y’all for help.

Below is my process. Please critique!

  1. All cuticle prep and file.

  2. Alcohol wipe on the nails to take any sweat away.

  3. Aprés dehydrator on the nail bed.

  4. Primer - usually Beetles or Aprés depending on what set I’m using.

  5. Young Nail protein bond.

  6. I use chemical etching (aparés) on the inside of the soft gel nail extension where it has also been filed with my efile.

  7. I add a layer of 6-in-1 nail glue on the inside of the extension and the drop at the base.

  8. I then apply under the lamp at a 45 degree angle and let it set under the light for at least 30 seconds.

  9. After all five are done this way I cure under my lamp for a minute and a half to two minutes.
