2024 Slugs

Did anyone else get hammered by slugs last year? I was getting wiped out each time I planted anything I always see the odd one or two knocking around but last year was insane, full bed of dahlias gone in a matter of days

Had a quick Google and a couple of articles suggest it was the year of the slug due to the conditions, I’m hoping the conditions aren’t in their favour this year 🤞🏻
