What is Fortnite festival even about?😭😭

I never really found this mode entertaining. I played it a couple of times when it was released, but that's it. This mode is getting seasons like Battle Royale and different passes, too. What I don't understand is what these seasons change. In BR for example, we get new pois and new vibes, for LEGO we get a new story, and in OG we will get new maps; but what the flip changes in Festival? 😭 Ik we get new main artists, but what do they do? 😭
