Install problems
I used the fedora 40 workstation media writer to write to a SanDisk usb drive. I booted into it and was going to install fedora 40 but my mouse wouldn't really work. Every 10 seconds or so some ui in the top right corner of the screen would flash and the mouse would work but would stop again as soon as the ui flash was gone. I was skeptical about switching back to linux but this is ridiculous, any thoughts on how to fix this? If it's the usb that's annoying cause it worked with Ubuntu a few years ago.
Edit 4: apparently fedora 40 isn't liking dual monitors of different resolutions and refresh rates, how do I fix this shit?
Edit 3: the welcome window just keeps on flashing visible and invisible every 10 seconds.
Edit 2: I'm trying to install and manually select the iso file in fedora media writer now, if it's still slow then I'll wait for hopefully some helpfully comments.
Edit 1: was reading online, maybe it's a Motherboard problem? Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk (ms-7c02) Bios version: 1.H7 Cpu: ryzen 5 3600 Gpu: rtx 3060 12gb
Dual monitors both turned on, each tested individually. 1st monitor 1440p lg 2nd monitor 1080p hp More info on monitors if necessary, I figure it isnt
