Deceitful driver
I had a package that was "out for delivery" for the past three days. I received a status update this afternoon saying the package was delivered. Went outside to check about 5 minutes after receiving the update, only to find that the package was in fact not there. The picture that was attached to my notification was a picture of my house taken from across the street. The picture did not include the package.
I called FedEx to report the issue. They confirmed that the picture provided by the driver was not acceptable as it did not include a view of the package. About an hour later, my elderly neighbor knocked on my door and delivered my package that had been left on her porch. This confirmed that the driver pulled up in front of her house (across the street from my home), placed the package on her porch, then took a picture of my house to attach to the delivery notification.
I will be contacting FedEx tomorrow to provide this update. Am I wrong in thinking this driver was completely deceitful, fully knowing that he did not in fact deliver the package to the correct house?
