Fantasy (and SF I guess) featuring trains as a central theme or world-building piece
I'm surprised fantasy featuring trains heavily isn't more of a thing, the ones I've read that are train-centric are great and I think it's something that lends well to being in a fantasy setting. Some I've read so far below, but I'm on the hunt for more!
Railsea - China Mieville
Iron Council - China Mieville
The Black Locomotive - Rian Hughes
Raising Steam - Terry Pratchett
The Wasteland - Stephen King
Whispers Underground - Ben Aaronovitch
(Mistborn era 2, but the trains aren't really central in the story, they're just there)
Recs appreciated! Fantasy preferred over Scifi
