Fat fingering excel shortcuts

So I love using keyboard shortcuts and don’t use a mouse at all when I work, which I think makes excel more fun and also more efficient.

I tend to go really fast with everything I’m doing, especially when it’s simple (like cleaning and shifting around a dataset). However, I’ve noticed a trend recently where I will fat finger one or multiple wrong keys while holding down control/shift/alt/etc., leaving my sheet totally bamboozled. Often times I can just control Z and all is well, but that isn’t always the case…

The other day, I activated some wacky analysis system on a botched shortcut attempt. I couldn’t press undo, and I couldn’t figure out how to turn the system off, leaving my document unworkable. I had to copy the entire sheet to a new one to continue my task…

Just wondering if anyone can relate, lawl. Happy Friday.

Edit: wasn’t using macros, but there was probably macros embedded because I wasn’t the founder of the file.. I’m pretty new to this stuff so haven’t learned macros yet 🤠
