What’s the general consensus? Is Oblivion getting a remake/remaster?

I’ve been dabbling with Oblivion, it is my favourite ES game but I have not completed a full play through in a long time. I started a new game and exited the sewers, I then remembered news of a remake/ remaster. If the news is true or considered as such, I would like to hold off on my play through until it is released.

What are people’s thoughts? Do you think we’re getting a new version of Oblivion?
