What are your Nokron/Nokstella lore theories?

• Theories about the Nox people themselves.

• Theories about the Ancestral Followers or other enemies that we meet in those areas.

• Items we pick up, rare or otherwise.

It’s a part of the Elden Ring lore that I’ve more or less avoided since the game’s release, only because every time I start to dig I become shocked by how dense the potential lore implications of these areas are. I’ll start the research only to end up with a thousand more questions before breaking ground. Throwing the DLC into the mix only makes me ask more questions about these places as well. I’d like to see a bunch of thoughts and theories compiled into one place, so have at it! What do we think? I want everything from definitive in-game facts to highly speculative/interpretive thoughts.
