is 'rebound weight' actually a thing?
i keep hearing about how restricting makes your metabolism slow down and turns your body into 'starvation mode' so that when you do start eating a normal amount of food you gain all the weight back plus even more which is rlly putting me off recovering and i wanted to know if it is genuinely true if i start eating my maintenance straight away instead of 'reverse dieting' after restricting for so long or its just one of those things non disordered people say to scare us.
