Dubai drivers are getting crazier by the day!

This just happened to me a little while back on SMBZ Road. I was driving from Sharjah to Dubai with my daughter and wife at the back and silver Chinese SUV driving in the 2nd lane came up and literally tried to shove herself into my lane (3rd) while I am still there. Since there were cars around I couldn’t move lanes, meanwhile this car got too close for comfort (an inch or two from ramming into my left side) and I honked for a decent bit before the car backed off slightly, this person was adamant to take that spot. I had to stay my ground as I would have caused a major accident had i swerved to accommodate this bully.

The guy behind me in the 4th lane slowed off a bit and I was able to give an indicator and switch to the next lane, the suv also switched behind me and moved further into the next lane, since I was still ahead, I also switched because I wanted to see who this person was who literally was trying to run me over from the road. Turns out it was an Arab woman, probably in her 20s or so she had other people in the car too. I was visibly angry because I came this close to having an accident and having my family hurt in the process.

This woman then drove up to me and gives me the look as if I had done something wrong. Then again starts shouting in Arabic and waving her hand out before taking the Al Ain Road exit to Nad Al Sheeba.

I managed to get a peek at the license plate just in case.

What the hell is wrong with people nowadays? She did this way before that exit came and frankly there was no need for her to do it as there was enough road for to have taken her exit without putting herself, her passengers and my family along with me into a dangerous situation.

Oh and mods over at Dubai subreddit banned this for breaking Rule #4 - Be nice to each other. Even when it was posted in the Rants & Complaints section.
