Help with buying decision

Hi, I have love and have played all souls games (multiple runs in each) except this and BB( I am on Xbox). I am thinking about buying it as it's on sale but have been very scared to play it because of stamina and character rotation (not perfect circle) issues that I read online. As all of you have played this game extensively, can you please validate how accurate these issues are? Thanks in advance
