My friend got scammed through using Coinmarketcap. Does anyone know to how recover the money through the address they sent it through?

My friend wanted to get into crypto trading and stuff but didn’t know how to start so they were approached by someone and told them that they can help. My friend trusted the guy blindly and did everything the guy said to do through hugotrade. yesterday when i had looked at the messages and the transaction, i had realized that the guy put a fake amount in using coinmarketcap which my friend didn’t realize and my friend sent a lot of money to a specific address. does anyone know how to recover the money with the address? we are trying everything we can before contacting the police.
