P0018 2019 Crosstrek
Shot in the dark but seeing if anyone can help. It seems like owners here don't tend to wrench on this vehicle as much as other subies.
2019 Crosstrek with 80k miles, oil change was at 75k.
P0018 code bank 2 sensor A
-Swapped sensor "A" VVT with genuine oem solenoid bank 2 (driver's side) -Swapped sensor A with B to see if problem followed (intake/exhaust) -Changed oil 0W-20 oem fluids/filter -Cleaned connections with no residue electrical spray, air blasted dry
Still getting a CEL for P0018
No symptoms associated with chain slap/slack Absent of: -rough idle -poor mpg -poor idle
Literally everything is normal but keep getting thrown a CEL after attempting to solve and clearing with an OBD.
I am at a loss. I've rebuilt track miatas from the ground up but this gremlin has me at my ends. I don't have access to a lift nor the time like I used to so I'm trying to sort this out before throwing in the towel and sending to the dealership. No warranty left.
