[CHAT] What's your cross-stitch new year resolution ?

Hello everyone, and best wishes to all of you !

I've been now back at cross-stitching for over two years, and I saw that I put a lot of pressure on myself, probably too much, but I still really like the craft and the process, and I'm starting to also like the end-product (I was a purely process stitcher, but now I proudly pose my creation on my wall).

I've decided to stop gridding, either by washable pens, or monofilament, even if I had good methods (really washable pens) and good monofilament. and now, I just want to just enjoy the craft a little more, with a little less planing, and using the time used for gridding on maybe stitching a little bit slower, but perfecting my stitches, I don't know.

Maybe go back to a simpler time, when I was just finding the middle and doing color by color, doing my little cross-country, and what-not... I wanted to try the parking method, and a lot of other things, but at the end, I'm so tired by my life, I just want to enjoy my craft more.

Edit: This had a lot more replies than I anticipated, and I just want to add that, if you can't keep up with those resolutions, it's also ok, a few of you have made big ones, and small steppies are still steppies.
