English Teacher moving in

As the title says, I’m an English teacher who’s going to be moving to the area in about two months. I’ll be moving from out of state, where our school year goes from August to May, rather than September to June.

In my current district, the bulk of the jobs start cropping up in April. I’m wondering if the jobs crop up in mid- or late-May.
