Is CS still good, despite AI and "walang board"?

Gusto kong course talaga is CS, so in college, balak kong kuhanin is BSCS—pero naturally, concerned yung family ko. Wala raw siyang board, and mas prefer ng iba na yung kuhanin ko raw yung may board exam. Furthermore, with AI on the rise, coupled with "walang board", they're concerned with job security. Mas maganda raw kuhanin ko yung something like computer engineering, or some other engineering (eh di naman ako interested sa mga hardware).

So I come here for advice, to see different perspectives on this situation. Worth it pa po ba mag-CS in this day and age?
