Trying to figure out whether or not this character concept would be considered racist

So I'm writing a character named Ebon Flo(a pun on the phrase "Ebb & Flow"). They're of African descent. Originally I had chosen the name "Ebon" because of the wordplay, but then I realized that the word had an actual meaning and that such a name might be considered offensive; then again there is DC's Black Lightning and Marvel's Black Panther, so perhaps I'm worrying over nothing. Regardless, most any advice would be appreciated. I hope you're having a wonderful existence.
