Automatic Litterbox

Are any automatic litterboxes ACTUALLY functional and worth it?

I had a recent surgery that caused damage to my ribs/shoulder on my right side and has made it extremely difficult to clean my cats' litterbox as a result. I currently have my partner staying with me while I recover, but I'm moving into a college apartment with roommates soon and I don't want to ask them to be responsible for my cats' litterboxes.

Are there any automatic litterboxes that would scoop the clumps for me, and then collect them in a compartment I can empty on my own? Or any other way to scoop that might be easier on my shoulder/ribs?
