Medical Collection

I have a medical collection on my report for $2,049 that’s been on the bureaus for seven months. If I pay it in full will it get fully removed of the three bureaus? I was doing some research online and found that it can but I’m still trying to get a full understanding of it all. Does it matter when I pay it as well?
