Recommendations for a new machine shop

Hey yall, I’m a freshman in college and we’re looking at potentially buying a cnc mill, preferably one that can cut steel and that has an auto tool changer. We had looked at the tormach 440 but fully priced out would be 18 grand. We also looked at some Chinese machines but heard iffy things. Do you all have any recommendations? We are not able to purchase used machines either.
