why is MBA prep in india so confusing??? (rant ahead)

So putting everything upfront- 7/7/6 - 90 XAT roughly three months of proper job experience ( done a year of internship/apprenticeship prior) 2023 grad majoring in English. GNEF

Why on earth is the MBA admission process so complicated? First, you take an exam, then fill out separate admission forms for colleges, and after that, you wait to see if you get shortlisted based on rather obscure criteria. Following all this, there’s a GDPI round, and then you wait to see if you can convert to a college, and finally, you pay...

This process is incredibly frustrating, but more than that, unless you attend the best colleges, it’s uncertain whether you'll gain admission. Everyone has a different opinion; people around me suggested I apply to IMS Ghaziabad, which I did, but now upon researching it, I find it lacking (my preliminary research indicated it as a tier 1 college). Now, another person is recommending UPES. I have submitted to IMT (rejected), IMI (no call), GIM (call received), and XIMB (didn't clear the cutoff for BM and HRM but got RM, SM, and PPC). I don't know what to do; I can’t take a gap year, as I will turn 25 this year. I can’t find a job in this market, even though I possess certification as a software tester and know Japanese. the best thing I have is a gig translating manga once or twice a month, but it doesn’t pay well...

all in all, I hate my life it's such a mess. if anyone has any suggestions please tell me my best option right now is GIM which I'm not sure ill convert
