NDI help!

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding NDI. I’m filling out my LOA for maternity leave and I realized I switched to sick leave last June and cannot switch back to annual leave until April this year (won’t be affective until June) but I leave on disability/maternity leave in April. Would I still receive NDI benefits? I’m very confused and HR isn’t being helpful. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I’m in BU01 but I’m confused is NDI better than sdi? What’s the difference? Am I screwed bc I switched to sick leave?
