Boiling Fuel ok/not ok
Rode around 300 miles no issues was a nice morning out. Final stretch of the ride was about 70mph sustained for 40mins fueled up two miles from home and headed in for the day. Took my gear off patted the dog grabbed a drink decided to check engine oil while hot when I noticed a faint bubbling noise. Popped the fuel cap (we have all heard stories of boiling fuel) and there are rolling bubbles this went on for ten minutes or so. No liquid fuel from over flow but a constant very low pressure of fuel vapor. I inspected overflow and vapor lines carefully for safety sake. I’ve done my research on the occurrence and hear it’s fairly common but wanted to hear from others if this is something to grow accustomed to.
