Training tips

This is Alby. He’s 11 weeks old and possibly the most frustrating thing I’ve ever encountered. Luckily he’s cute enough for me to persevere.

Everything seems to be one step forward, two steps back.

Within the first few days he seemed to be on top of toilet training, and well on his way with crate training.

He is now having relapses of not wanting to out to go to the toilet, or getting halfway out to the grass and deciding that’s enough. He’s hardly food motivated and toys are hit and miss at best.

He is great when meeting new people and isn’t scared of them, but is terrified of everything else. His go to is to lay down looking sad at least 4 or 5m away from you.

When on a lead he will walk with his tail between his legs and his ears flat, unless we’re running back towards home.

Any tips on how to keep pushing for better behaviour without making him hate me? Going to try some different snacks for training to see if that helps.

Thanks
