I voted for Nickel, come at me

You read the title. This isn’t because “Oh Boohoo he messed up the timeline” because so did Tennis Ball, who is still easily my favorite character. It’s because he only started playing a good role in episode 16, while the rest of these characters have been good from the start. Let me go through this:

Needle has always been a very strong competitor, and had the arc with FreeSmart a few episodes ago, so she’s been relevant for a bit now.

I always liked Fries, because his pessimism was fun to watch in a show with so many goofy personalities, and it was good to see Fries actually be somewhat realistic and entertaining. Fries has been in my Top 10 Characters for a long time.

Tennis Ball, I stated that he’s my favorite and that hasn’t changed.

Book is also one of my favorites, for being a reliable ally, and decently intelligent. Pencil and Book were also excellent in BFDIA 15 and 16.

That leaves Coiny, Pin, and Nickel. As you know, Coiny and Pin are immune, and that leaves Nickel, who has only come around in recent episodes, not to mention his drastic personality change from BFDIA Pre Hiatus to Post Hiatus, it feels like JnJ forgot that Pre Hiatus Nickel was also a more realistic pessimistic character. Now it feels like he’s just becoming his BFB and TPOT self, which isn’t a type of zany character that I enjoyed watching. Even if he acted like Pre Hiatus Nickel, he still just isn’t as good as the rest, and Fries is a much better pessimistic character.

Honestly, I don’t care how you’ll try to convince me to not want to eliminate Nickel, and once again, it’s not just because “Oh Boohoo he mess up Timeline” because TPOT Pencil actually had complexity surrounding it, and Nickel is nowhere near as Good as the rest of the BFDIA cast.
