BG3 made me best friends with my brother

Just want to say that I love this game for many reasons, but probably most all that it somehow made my older brother and I best friends. We had a pretty typical sibling relationship growing up (the love each other but don’t usually LIKE each other type), and inevitably grew apart a bit once we went off to college. Last holidays my mom got us both BG3 because she’d read it was good in a NYT article, despite the fact that neither of us were gamers and at the time I didn’t even have a platform to play on while at school.

We decided to give it a go while home for the break, and flash forward a year later and we’ve completed four coop campaigns together, each time playing as sibling ravs. We went from texting sporadically to texting daily, actually getting on the train to visit each other at least once a month, and talking on the phone for hours.

So thank you BG3 (and my mom) for making me realize my brother is actually pretty great! Here's to another year!
