Delivered to the wrong house

Hi guys. I recently had an express package delivered to the wrong house 10 days ago. The post man has given me a gps scan of it being at that house but the occupants are refusing to have received it (they were home all day.)

I’ve been going through the loops with Aus post, then the police and now auspost again which I’ve been transferred to 3 different email accounts since lodging a customer enquiry. No one has been able to help and It’s so frustrating as now they’re only offering $100 because it wasn’t insured (it was worth over $500)

The police did nothing. I lodged a form, all they did was contact them and when they said they didn’t have it they closed the case

Is there anything else I can do to either receive my package or receive true dollar value for the package?
