What should Biden have done differently?

What should he have done differently throughout his administration to win? Was Biden always ducked? Was it set in stone that Biden would have always lost due to worldwide inflation? Should Biden still have implemented some of his key pieces of legislation, including the inflation reduction act or the $1200 check at the beginning of his presidency?
