Does quantity of food matter when it comes to how much calories are in their food?
May be worded wrong but try to figure out if the amount of food I feed my dog to get his daily calories matters
My dog is allergic to nearly everything, so I feed him pro plan sensitive stomach. He's been on salmon and rice forever and I wanted to switch it up. They have turkey and lamb also.
The question I have, both the turkey and salmon have roughly the same amount of calories...450ish kcup, but the lamb has quite a bit more...550ish.
So I went with the turkey to keep feeding him the same amount, but if I switch to the lamb, I'd have to lower the amount I feed him
So would lowering the amount of food I give him affect him? The main concern I guess I have is not feeling full and wanting to eat all the time.
Maybe a really dumb question, but it got stuck in my head, and trying to get an answer for it
