A concerned American

So I'm just wondering what life is like in Russia, our leader seems to admire Putin so there is a possibility that his way of ruling may start being copied here as a possible (though unlikely) extreme circumstance. I'm anxious about these possible changes so I want to ask actual Russian citizens, are the citizens of Russia comfortable, can your average citizens go on vacation. What is healthcare like there and what about mental healthcare. How are workers treated?

I am sorry I'm kind of ignorant on what every day life is like there but asking questions reels back the runaway thoughts.

EDIT: I don't think I worded things well, I DO NOT think Trump is going to try to make us into Russia, I also have nothing against the Russian people and have no reason to think poorly of Russian citizens.

I do not wish to upset or offend my curiosity about what the average life is like there is sincere.
