Dumb question, but does yellow glow mean a pet is golden?

Hi! This is a kinda dumb questions, but I just purchased this cutie for 500 gems (even though I think the person messed up and meant to do sapphires not gems lol) and I’ve never had a gold pet before, wondering if the glow means it’s golden?
