Who buys liquidated inventory and how?

Long story short, Amazon FBA is turning out to be more trouble than it’s worth and I decided to liquidate my unsold inventory through their FBA liquidation program. People are buying them for roughly 10% of what they were listed for. And some are being sold individually, while others are bulk orders.

It got me thinking, with tariffs increasing, it sounds worth it (for my niche anyway) to be buying through this liquidation program rather than sourcing from China. The problem is, google turns up no results on where Amazon is liquidating this stuff. The only results I get are third party liquidators, who are either buying from this Amazon Liquidation program and reselling, or acting as an alternative to the program. But nothing showing where people are buying the liquidated inventory through the program.

Anyone have experience with this?
