Mission/Promotion Creep

Has anyone else experienced a situation like this: Flight CC demands a task that isn't in our skillsets and then if you fail at the task you get hemmed up... is this fuckin normal? I feel like this makes zero sense. Like, my MSgt supervisor didn't have to learn how to code but now I need to code? Like, what the fuck is this shit.
