I watched a hiring manager delete 130+ applications without reading a single one. AMA

I went for an interview and the DR interviewing me was upset with the amount of applications he got that didn't follow his directions so he deleted all of them without reading it first.

Edit : I am loving the diverse perspectives on this. Whether you agree or disagree this is pretty interesting.

Edit: This is the same person who liked me so he invited me back for a one hour shadowing to see if I mesh well with other employees. The job offer still isn't definite after completing this one hour shadow of his team.

Edit: A lot of you are saying I'm not ready for real life or will fail but if you READ you'd realize I was called in because I was one of three people who followed directions. However, I still think it's dumb to require a video introduction for a job application.
