Do you remember the first time on meds everything got quiet?

I am 52, had an extreemly stressful 5 years resulting in a loss of personal ability to "mask" as well as i had my entire life without realizing i had been.

Went through doctor, then a phycyatrist (a whole different story) and was perscribed light meds. It has been a journey taking over a year.

Got to work on Monday, turned off the truck and the overwhelming quiet suprised me. Not surrounding me, but in my head.
