Examples of people who use Chaos as a tool?

I was wondering if people have any examples of what happens to people who use chaos as a tool. I know many people who join chaos as believers, but other people just want power. Most of these people who just want to use chaos for their own ends and see it as more as a transactional relationship, what happens to them? For that matter what would happen if two different people took this path, one who joined chaos undivided as its the least risky way to join chaos and not have a god own you, and other one who joined a specific chaos god.
