OBC Experience

Just saw the obc tonight - I am never gonna recover. It was genuinely the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. I brought my mom, who knew nothing about the show but was crying the whole time and came out saying it was the best thing she has ever seen!!! It was so incredible. Here are my main opinions:

• WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE REEVES ORPHEUS? I just can’t understand!! His voice was so emotional and haunting, he hit every note perfectly and just perfectly captured the character of Orpheus. My mom and I were crying after he sang the first few notes of epic. He was her favourite character of the whole show. • Reeve and Eva together were just out of this world. Their chemistry is unbelievable!! • The fates were so spectacular. I’ve never heard anything like their voices together! • having never seen the show before, I was so encapsulated by the set, especially during wait for me. • my favourite numbers were chant, wait for me, all I’ve ever known, and flowers.
