Why is finding the perfect red lipstick so freaking hard?! šš
Okay, ladies (and anyone who loves a good red lip), I need to know: Does the perfect red lipstick even exist?! Or are we just chasing a myth like unicorns or a stable 9-to-5 with work-life balance?
I swear, Iāve tried everything. High-end brands, drugstore finds, matte, glossy, blue undertones, orange undertones, even that one terrifying greenish red that my BFF swore ālooked amazingā on me (spoiler: it didnāt). And still, itās likeā¦ meh. Some look too vampy, some too bright, and others make me feel like Iāve just raided my grandmaās vanity.
Donāt even get me started on how some reds look bomb in the bathroom lighting, but the moment you step outside? Clown vibes. š¤”
But hereās the thingāIām obsessed with red lipstick. Nothing gives me that boss energy or makes me feel more āmeā than swiping on a bold red and strutting out like Iām taking over the world. (Even if Iām just going to Target to buy more dry shampoo.) So why is finding the oneāthe red that works for my mood, my skin tone, and my vibeāso. damn. hard?
