Why r people on this game SO rude..

I installed the game yesterday and am still learning a lot of the niche things about it, I’m having a lot of fun with the game itself!! But every other match (quads/trios) I have my team on mic basically screaming at me, is it smart to just mute with F or am I just having bad luck with my teammates ??? For reference I have played 16 games and have won 6, but my most recent team almost brought me to tears and I downright wanna just never play again :,3
