MHGU HD Texture Mod + 60 FPS and Multiplayer [2025]
If you want to play Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on PC with your friends, this is the place.
There are many people that simply haven't tried this wonderful game, or simply don't have a Switch to play on it. Me as a Switch owner and I have over 500 hours in this game legitimately, came across this mod that let's you play the game with higher res, 60 fps and it is working with multiplayer, so you can bring your friends and have a blast together.
To make this shorter, here are a list of the things you need:
- Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (.NSP or other Switch format) I have tested version 1.4.0.
- Yuzu Emulator (tested with Yuzu v1734)
- Ryujinx Emulator (tested with Ryujinx 1.2.80)
- HD Pixel Pack ver 2.0
- HD Textures (Weapons, Map, Palicoes, NPC's etc)
- HD Monsters (Some monsters have been retextured and upscaled)
- HD UI (Upscaled Icons, Custom system button layouts to choose from, Switch. Playstation or Xbox buttons. This is for ENG language only!)
- 60 FPS patch (most stable for online play)
- 120 FPS patch (stable, but if you have higher ping [+200] might cause desync)
- MHXX/GU Save Editor (so you can edit and modify save file)
- Pixel Cheats (a set of extra cheats, such as 2x speed, instant quest clear and instant sharpness gain)

All you need to do is:
- Extract the installer to the Mod Data Location of your game.
- You can simply right click MHGU icon on Yuzu and select "Open Mod Data Location", copy the location and paste it on the installer.
- The installer should have the location correctly, but if you want to make sure, just do the step above.

If the installer was successful it should show these boxes in the game properties tab, just make sure they are selected before launching the game
