Intigrated gpu issues

I'm trying to get a laptop with an nvidia 1050 setup, I installed rpm fusion drivers but Glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer" Is still returning string: Mesa Intel(R) HD Graphics How do I get my nvidia card to be the primary card working. The nvidia server settings app doesn't have anything I can see that enables it. Is there a better way to teat if the nvidia card is actually getting used? I'd rather not install mangohud just to verify my gpu is being used over intigrated
